Here at Heavy we love our fantasy football, so we are psyched to see the NFL season kick off Thursday night.

The opening game, the Pittsburgh Steelers at the New England Patriots, will feature two pass-heavy teams and some of the top receivers in the game. The Steelers boast Antonio Brown, an absolute overall stud, and the Pats have Julian Edelman, a PPR machine.

I have Brown at No. 2 for Week 1, while Edelman is at 12.

The league is packed with star receivers and it was tough leaving a few out of the top 10 (like Edelman).

Each week I’ll be doing fantasy football rankings for quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends and defenses/special teams. Bookmark our fantasy football rankings 2015 page to keep up-to-date on the latest projections and rankings so you know you who to start and who to sit.

So let’s get to it.
