Baylor will begin its 2015 season against SMU without monster defensive end Shawn Oakman and safety Orion Stewart, who have been suspended, and it isn’t likely to matter.

Despite the game being played at Gerald J. Ford Stadium, the No. 4 Bears enter as 20-point favorites per OddsShark.com and as high as 36-point favorites elsewhere.

It’s not exactly difficult to see why. Although Baylor lost Bryce Petty to the NFL, it replaces him with Seth Russell, another seemingly great fit for Art Briles’ offense, while stud offensive playmakers Corey Coleman, KD Cannon and Shock Linwood all return.

SMU, meanwhile, went 1-11 last year, and although new head coach Chad Morris’ up-tempo offense will be very entertaining to watch, expectations are low in 2015.

Kickoff for this one is Friday at 7 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast on ESPN, but if you can’t get to a television, here’s how to watch online and on mobile:
