Auburn had been very secretive on who their starting quarterback would be against Alabama. According to AL.com, Jeremy Johnson will get the start for the Tigers in the Iron Bowl.
Johnson started the season as the starting quarterback for Auburn and was expected to be one of the best quarterbacks in the SEC before the season started.
Johnson struggled early on and the Tigers began starting Sean White. Since then, Auburn has alternated quarterbacks throughout the season.
Johnson will have his hands full against Alabama’s defense which is one of the best defenses in the country. He has thrown for 873 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions.
