Tottenham hope to continue an unbeaten streak at White Hart Lane on Thursday when they’re visited by Belgian side Anderlecht.
The English club is 4-2 in their last six European games at home, but was defeated by Anderlecht two weeks ago in Belgium. Since then Hotspur has won two domestic games by a combined score of 8-2.
Two weeks ago, Christian Eriksen scored four minutes in, giving Tottenham an early lead. That lasted less than ten minutes, as Guillaume Gillet pounced on a corner and blew a low shot past Hugo Lloris. Despite a lack of offense Hotspur dominated possession, completing 532 passes to Anderlecht’s 190. It was all for naught however as Stefano Okaka beat Lloris with the winning goal fifteen minutes from full time.
Thursday’s matchup will have a dramatic impact on the Group J standings. Through three matches, the clubs are tied and fourth and trailing leader AS Monaco by one point.
Start is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. Eastern, and Fox Sports One will have the broadcast in the US. Here’s how to watch the match online and on mobile:
