Game Preview:

After losing Andrew Luck six weeks ago against the Broncos, the Colts estimated that the franchise QB would need 2-6 weeks to recover. Now the deadline has passed, and Luck’s lacerated kidney is likely to be the reason Indianapolis misses out on the division title. Matt Hasselbeck has done an admirable job keeping the Colts afloat, but there’s only so much a 40-year old backup can do.

After last week’s loss to Houston, the Colts need consecutive losses from the Texans to sneak back into the playoff race. Houston is starting Brandon Weeden, but the Colts can only help their case by beating the Dolphins.

Miami’s season hasn’t been going right for a while, and there’s plenty to play for with two weeks remaining. The entire coaching staff is unsure about their future, but Dan Campbell is reportedly still a candidate to return as Dolphins coach next year.

If clinching a losing season wasn’t enough, last week was made worse when Mike Pouncey went down to injury. The starting center is now sitting out this week with foot and ankle injuries, the same week he was named the Dolphins only representative in the Pro Bowl.
