Nope, but some people certainly thought that was the case.
Shortly after Green Bay’s victory, rumors began to swirl that Rodgers and Munn, who reportedly began dating around May of 2014, had gotten engaged. But Munn quickly made sure everyone knew that wasn’t the case. And she did so by posting a conversation with her mother:
Munn then went on “Live With Kelly and Michael” to read those texts and provide an impersonation of her mom:
Of course, while the reports of engagement aren’t true, that doesn’t mean it’s that far off for one of the NFL’s most popular couples.
According to a source close to Rodgers cited by E! News, “Olivia and Aaron have discussed they want to get married eventually and their future together. All of his friends know she is a great fit for him.”
It’s a pretty busy time for each of them, though. While Rodgers goes after his second Super Bowl title, Munn has a handful of different projects going on. She just beat Kevin Hart in Spike’s “Lip Sync Battle,” she’s set to appear in “X-Men: Apocalypse” and “Zoolander 2” in 2016, and she’s producing a television series about a female sportscaster set in the 1970’s.
So, yeah, it’s safe to say they’re both a little preoccupied right now.
