It actually happened. John Cena returned at WrestleMania. And he returned to join forces with The Rock as the two took on The Wyatt Family.

It didn’t take long for Cena and The Rock to dispatch the Wyatts. After all, just moments before Cena ran into the ring, The Rock had taken out a member of the Family in six seconds. Six seconds!
Cena was rumored to be scheduled for an appearance at WrestleMania, but after injuring his shoulder earlier this year no one expected the Superstar to actually make his way into the ring. Now, he didn’t exactly bring the best moves in the world, but Cena’s moves were months ahead of what had been previously announced. He wasn’t expected to return until June at the earliest.
WrestleMania is so fun.
