Only one spot remains in the Liga MX final for the 2016 Clausura, and Pachucha and Leon enter Sunday’s second semifinal leg deadlocked at 1-1. Monterrey advanced to the Liguilla final after knocking off America, but both Pachucha and Leon had better Clausura seasons than America.
Pachuca is led by Hirving Lozano, who may not be in Mexico for long. The 20-year old attacking midfielder is drawing attention from some clubs in Europe, and could leave Pachuca with a strong performance for Mexico at Copa America.
