LSU takes on Louisville in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Eve. According to OddsShark, LSU is a three point favorite in the contest.

The over-under is set at 59 points. Neither team has done particularly well this season in Vegas. LSU is 5-6 against the spread while Louisville is 6-6.

The OddsShark computer likes LSU to pull out a narrow victory. The computer projects a 36.7-34.5 LSU victory. The computer is taking Louisville against the spread and the over on the point total. The S&P+ weighted projections also like LSU. The projections have LSU winning 28.6-24.4.

There is reason for concern for the Tigers with Leonard Fournette out, but Derrius Guice has filled in admirably for Fournette in spots throughout the season.

Heavy likes LSU to come through with the victory. Louisville has lost two straight games and has not won since November 12. LSU has won two of its last three games. Expect new coach Ed Orgeron to have the Tigers ready to play as they head into the 2017 season on a high note.

Heavy’s Pick: LSU 34 Louisville 27. LSU -3. Over on the Point Total.
