Florida takes on South Carolina in an SEC clash with a trip to the Final Four on the line. According to OddsShark, Florida is favored by 3.5 points. The over-under is set at 136.5 points.

The OddsShark computer likes South Carolina to continue their magical run with a trip to Arizona. The computer predicts a 69.2-68.2 Gamecocks victory.

South Carolina is 15-18 against the spread while the Gators are 20-13-1 this season.

This will be the third matchup between the two squads and will serve as the tiebreaker. South Carolina won 57-53 in their January contest while the Gators won more recently in a blowout 81-66 victory.

The Gamecocks have had a more challenging path to the Elite 8. South Carolina defeated Marquette, Duke and Baylor on their way to today’s matchup. Florida beat East Tennessee State, Virginia and Wisconsin to advance as one of the eight remaining teams.

Sindarius Thornwell has been a big reason for South Carolina’s success. Thornwell had 24 points and six rebounds in their win against Baylor. The challenge for Thornwell is the Gators have multiple guards that can matchup with him. South Carolina took advantage of their first two games being a short drive from the Gamecocks campus.

Heavy likes Florida to win powered by a nice game from big man Devin Robinson. The Gators get the win over the Gamecocks for a trip to the Final Four.

Heavy’s Pick: Florida 79 South Carolina 74. Florida -3.5. Over on the Point Total.
