
Amid a five-game losing streak, the Golden State Warriors are looking to get back on track with a road game against the Washington Wizards on Monday, March 16.
Lately, the Warriors have been dealing with many notable injury concerns. The veteran forward Draymond Green has been a part of that group.
Heading into their matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 13, the Warriors shockingly downgraded Green less than one hour before the game tipped off.
Green was a late scratch for the Warriors. He then missed the following game against the New York Knicks on March 15.
Warriors Announce Good News on Draymond Green vs Wizards

Barring any unexpected changes, it seems Green is on pace to play against the Warriors on Monday night.
*FINAL UPDATE: The Warriors have upgraded Draymond Green to AVAILABLE against the Wizards on Monday.
When the team released their injury report on Monday afternoon, Green was upgraded to probable. When Warriors head coach Steve Kerr addressed the media on Sunday night, he suggested that there was a good chance Green could return.
The head coach described himself as “hopeful” for Green’s return.
The Warriors Need Plenty Of Help

Heading into the Knicks game, the Warriors’ injury report was loaded.
Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler were expectedly ruled out for the night. Green was ruled out due to lower-back injury management.
De’Anthony Melton got the night off with an adductor strain. Moses Moody continues dealing with a wrist sprain.
Al Horford, Seth Curry, and Kristaps Porzingis all appeared on the court for the Warriors against the Timberwolves last Friday. Two of them (Curry, Horford) suffered in-game setbacks, which caused further absences.
As for Porzingis, he was out due to illness management on Sunday. The veteran center is expected to make his return on Monday night, as he’s off the injury report.
The Warriors and the Wizards are slated for a 7 PM ET tip.
