On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors are playing the Sacramento Kings.
Steph Curry had eight points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals while shooting 3/8 from the field and 2/6 from three-point range in his first 21 minutes of playing time.

Curry also made NBA history during Friday’s game.
Warriors PR wrote: “Stephen Curry has passed Tim Duncan (26,496 career points) for 19th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.”
Curry is in the middle of his 17th NBA season (all with Golden State).
The two-time MVP came into the night with averages of 27.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 39.2% from three-point range in 41 games.
ESPN’s Anthony Slater wrote before the game: “Steph Curry will return to the starting lineup for the Warriors tonight in Sacramento. Sounds like minutes will get bumped into high 20s range. Kristaps Porzingis also cleared to play.”
Curry’s NBA Career
Curry was the seventh pick in the 2009 NBA Draft out of Davidson.
He broke out into a superstar during his fifth season.
From 2015-22, Curry led the Warriors to the NBA Finals six times (and they won four titles).
Curry has made 12 All-Star Games, and established himself as one of the best 15 players of all time.
His career averages are 24.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 42.2% from three-point range in 1,067 games.
Warriors Right Now
The Warriors came into the night as the 10th seed in the Western Conference with a 37-43 record in 80 games.
Following the Kings, they will play the final game of their 2026 regular season on Sunday when they visit the LA Clippers.
On Wednesday, the Warriors will then be in the play-in tournament.
