The New York Knicks have been dealing with a hefty amount of anxiety as their star guard-forward and veteran player, Josh Hart, has been battling an injury he obtained during Game 5 earlier this week. With just hours until tipoff in the next chance for the Knicks to advance against the Atlanta Hawks, Hart’s status for tonight’s game has officially been announced.
CBS Sports reports that Josh Hart will indeed play tonight’s matchup against the Hawks, and he’ll continue to be a critical part of New York’s starting lineup.

At the start of the day, Josh Hart was listed as a questionable player in tonight’s game against the Atlanta Hawks. However, his status has now been officially revealed as ‘Good to go’ according to CBS Sports. Fortunately for the New York team, Hart’s lower back contusion that he suffered earlier in the Knicks’ playoff run isn’t severe enough to keep him sidelined during Game 6.
CBS Sports reports: “Hart was added to the injury report as questionable due to a lower-back contusion, but the issue isn’t serious enough to prevent him from suiting up Thursday evening. He’s averaging 94 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 34.6 minutes per game through the first five matchups of the [playoff] series.”
