Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are drawing closer to their expected wedding date, and new insider details suggest the couple is moving forward with plans as Kelce faces major decisions about his NFL future.
During a recent appearance on the “Friends Keep Secrets” podcast, Selena Gomez reflected on her longtime friendship with Swift and shared insight into a meaningful milestone they now share.

Speaking on the podcast hosted by Lil Dicky, his wife Kristin Batalucco, and her husband, Benny Blanco, Gomez said the “coolest part” of her friendship with Swift is that they both found “good dudes.”
“It’s absolutely unbelievable to come from 17 years of friendship, from multiple heartbreaks and love stories and fun stories in life … we both ended up, fortunately, being engaged around the same time,” Gomez said.
Gomez and Blanco became engaged in December 2024 and married last year. Swift and Kelce followed with their own engagement months later.

Multiple outlets, including Page Six, reported that Swift, 35, and Kelce, 36, are planning to wed on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. The date holds personal significance for Swift, who was born on December 13. June 13 marks her half-birthday, and 13 has long been known as her favorite number.
According to multiple reports, Swift was determined to secure the June 13 date and allegedly paid another bride-to-be who had previously booked the venue in order to claim it.
The date has also drawn attention online for its numerological symbolism. Written as 6/13/26, the digits add up to nine. According to Numerology.com, nine represents completion and transition, symbolizing the end of one cycle and the beginning of another.
Graham Norton teased that he knows when the globally famous couple plans to get married.
Or so it appeared when the host, 62-year-old comedian posted a message on his X account.
“So exciting that @taylorswift13 has a date for her wedding now!” Norton posted on Friday, in a message that had already received 1.4 million views within 24 hours.
Swift previously appeared on “The Graham Norton Show” in October while promoting her album “The Life of a Showgirl.”
During that interview, Graham Norton asked her, “Is next year the wedding year? Is that when it’s happening?”
Swift responded, “I was going to invite you.”
Friends, including Gomez and Gigi Hadid, are expected to attend. Jason Kelce is widely anticipated to serve as the best man.
Travis Kelce’s NFL Future Adds Complexity
As wedding planning continues, Kelce faces uncertainty about his football career with the Kansas City Chiefs. His contract is expiring, and retirement speculation has intensified following a 6-11 season in which he still put up good numbers with 76 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that Chiefs general manager Brett Veach wants Kelce to take time before making a final decision. Veach himself also emphasized that the team wants Kelce back, but only if he is “1000% all in.”
“As of right now, that has not been fully, fully determined. There has been some discussion about a potential contract for him. Obviously, he would be a free agent, so he would need a contract,” Rapoport said.
