Now that the month of September 2015 has come to a close, we finally whittled down our list of top Android action games down to five.
We’ve entered the colder months of the year, which means you’re more prone to distracting yourself from those brisk winds. While you’re on your way to work on that cold train or sitting alone in a frigid house (PAY YOUR HEAT BILL!), you’ll need something to take your mind off the current weather. Luckily, we have some action packed mobile games that can do just the job. We have Android games filled with one-on-one duels, open-world driving, RPG combat and more.
These five mobile games stand out as the best action offerings on the Google Play store for September 2015.
1. World of Warriors: Duel
World of Warriors keeps on kicking with a new side game that fans will adore. The cute, big head warriors you’ve fell in love with before (ninjas, Vikings, Romans, tribal champions etc.) have returned once again. There’s 30 battlers ready to go in this game where the winner comes down to whoever has the quickest reaction time. The simple battle mechanics and bright visuals will push you to keep playing this gladiator-like fighter. It’s up to you to keep your warrior atop his platform and remain victorious!
2. Smashy Road: Wanted
Remember the 1st two Grand Theft Auto games that hit consoles back in the day? You cruised around the streets and caused the digital authorities all kinds of trouble as you smashed everything in sight. On mobile devices, Smashy Road: Wanted brings back that retro playstyle and envisions it within its pixelated art style. You’ll get to hop into all types of cars, tanks, trucks and more as you seek to raise your wanted level as high as possible. Take over the road, become a true anarchist, pick up some greenbacks and survive as long as you can. There’s so many vehicles to gather here, so keep driving and keep smashing.
3. Eternity Warriors 4
The hit mobile action RPG series Eternity Warriors has now entered into its 4th official round of top-down dungeon crawling. The graphics look even cleaner than before and the hack ‘n’ slash action has improved by leaps and bounds. All the enemies you encounter come in all types of varied forms and groups, plus the boss fights are as tough as they come. Join up with a reliable guild to take them all down, collect as much rare loot as you can carry and build your warrior into a powerful hero. There’s also online PVP arena battles weekly events, so Eternity Warriors 4’s replay value stays high.
Zombie shooters come a dime a dozen these days, but this mobile FPS is one of the better ones. Unkilled places you in the role of private military agent named Joe. New York City has been taken over by a quickly spreading zombie virus, so its up to you to blast all those undead uglies away. The amazing graphics on this mobile shooter should push you even further to give this title a chance. With 300 missions to keep you busy, more than 50 weapons to equip and unique bosses to take down, Unkilled gives you everything you’d want from a AAA FPS.
5. PewDiePie: Legend of Brofist
YouTube gaming legend PewDiePie now has his own game! This premium action platformer takes it back to the 2D 16-bit days that retro fans look back on fondly. There’s so many characters to add to your playable roster, so you’ll enjoy hopping everywhere and participating in shoot ’em up missions. YouTube stars such as Marzia, CinnamonToastKen, JackSepticEye, Cryaotic, Markiplier and more all make an appearance in this awesome side scroller. This mobile platformer is so good, it would have felt right at home on the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
