Here is Injustice 2’s Entire Roster of Fighters

Firestorm Injustice 2

Fighting games live and die by their roster of fighters, as a unique character list allows a title to form its own personality and style. Injustice 2 by developer NetherRealm Studios takes the various superheroes and villains of DC Comics and pits them against one another.

Set some time after the original Injustice, Superman’s regime has fallen and with it Batman’s once rebel band tries to restore balance to the world. Counteracting this is the villain-focused faction The Society, which is led by the telepathic Gorilla Grodd. While this conflict rages on the powerful android Brainiac arrives on Earth which puts every life form on the planet at risk.

Injustice 2 has a rather impressive roster of characters as the game sports 28 base fighters, an addition one as a pre-order bonus, and 9 more scheduled to be future DLC. Here is every fighter that has been announced for NetherRealm Studio’s Injustice 2:

Base Game:

  • Aquaman
  • Atrocitus
  • Bane
  • Batman
  • Black Adam
  • Black Canary
  • Blue Beetle
  • Brainiac
  • Captain Cold
  • Catwoman
  • Cheetah
  • Cyborg
  • Deadshot
  • Dr. Fate
  • Firestorm
  • Flash
  • Gorilla Grodd
  • Green Arrow
  • Green Lantern
  • Harley Quinn

  • Scarecrow
  • Supergirl
  • Superman
  • Swamp Thing
  • Wonder Woman

Pre-Order Bonus:

There are a lot of fighters to choose from, with many of these combatants making their first appearance in the Injustice series. While there are series staples like Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern, some lesser known heroes like Firestorm and Blue Beetle are also arriving.

Injustice 2 DLC

While many of the DLC characters are still unknown, we can tell that from the silhouettes offered at the end of the Fighter Pack 1 trailer who could be coming. Two of them are unmistakably Black Manta (front left) and Raiden (front right), which only leaves four of the fighters yet to be revealed. As we near closer to Injustice 2’s release date, one cannot help but get excited at recreating all those famous comic book battles.
