Jordan Beck: Breaking News

Beck (hamstring) stretched and did running drills prior to Tuesday's game against the Cubs, MLB.com reports. Beck has yet to resume fielding drills, which marks the final step in his recovery prior to beginning a rehab assignment. There is no specific timeline for his return, though it appears he could realistically be activated by late June or early July.

Beck (hamstring) has resumed throwing on the field, MLB.com reports. Beck has been cleared to run and throw, but he has no additional activity scheduled beyond that. His timeline for a return remains unclear.

Beck (hamstring) was able to begin a running progression this past week, MLB.com reports. Beck was placed on the 10-day injured list May 18 due to a left hamstring injury, but the fact that he's running again likely indicates that he's working his way back from a low-grade strain. Once he's running the bases at full speed, Beck may need only a brief minor-league rehab assignment before returning from the IL.
