Legendary mixed martial arts figure Bob Shamrock, 68, passed away Thursday night. Funeral services will take place next week in Susanville, California.
Shamrock, who accepted troubled young men into his home, famously adopted both Ken Kilpatrick and Frank Juarez during their teens. Both men changed their last names to Shamrock out of respect for the man who did so much to help them.
Shamrock had been in failing health in recent weeks.
