Calling all UFC fans in the land down under, now’s your chance to get up close and personal with some of the top fighters in the UFC without having to step into the octogon. Some of the sport’s top fighters will be getting together to meet their Australian fans at the Sports Theatre, Star City, on Tuesday 14th December at 6 pm.
Two-time UFC world champion BJ Penn, top welterweight contender Jon Fitch, along with the two most recognisable Aussies in the sport – George Sotiropoulos and Kyle Noke will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs.
“Our Aussie fans are amongst the most loyal in the world so we’re bringing out some of the biggest names in the UFC to thank them for their support,” said Marshall Zelaznik, Managing Director of UFC in Australia. “This is a great opportunity for Sydney fans to meet some of the heroes of our sport.” Great opportunity indeed, it’s not everyday you get to have BJ “the prodigy” Penn put you in a headlock for a Facebook photo.
Clear your calenders, grab your Jon Fitch poster and make sure you get to the event early, no doubt that it’s gonna be crowded with many an enthusiastic UFC fan.
