A featherweight bout between Pablo Garza and Fredson Paixao is in the works for the Dec. 4 Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale in Las Vegas.

Heavy.com confirmed with sources close to the event that both fighters have verbally agreed to the bout, and bout agreements are expected to be distributed shortly. MMAJunkie.com was the first to report the news.

The event takes place at the Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

The featherweight bout is the second to be added to the TUF 12 Finale. Leonard Garcia and Tyler Toner are scheduled to face off on the preliminary card. They’re the first two fights from the former WEC weight classes to be added to UFC shows, though new UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo is scheduled to defend his title against Josh Grispi on Jan. 1.

Garza lost to current season favorite Michael Johnson during the elimination round for TUF 12. He then dropped to featherweight to face Chinese star Tiequan Zhang at WEC 51. Garza lost via guillotine choke in the first round.

Paixao is riding a two-fight win streak over Courtney Buck and Bryan Caraway.
