UFC And Orbitz Partner Up For Travel Services

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has selected Orbitz Worldwide Distribution to put forth package deals for future events.

The promotion announced the news earlier today.

Orbitz, an internet travel company, is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The company is a leading name in travel services.

“By teaming up with Orbitz Worldwide, UFC fans can now book great travel packages to attend UFC events,” UFC President Dana White stated in today’s official press release. “There is nothing like the live UFC experience and this gives fans an easy way to book travel to UFC events around the world.”

The UFC says the need for travel packaging has derived from the fact that nearly 50 percent of fans attending UFC events have come from out of state or country. Several different types of travel packages will be offered to suit every kind of mixed martial arts fan.

“We’re excited to work with an organization like the UFC to allow their millions of fans to search and book hotels, flights, and car rentals through UFC.com,” stated Orbitz Worldwide Distribution President Ronnie Furion. “The Orbitz Worldwide Distribution private label solution combines the strength of Orbitz technology with the breadth and depth of Orbitz supplier relationships to help fight fans save money when booking travel for UFC events.”

The travel service has been launched and can be found on UFC.com.
