Mayweather-Pacquiao: By the Numbers (INFOGRAPHIC)

To celebrate the historic announcement of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao uberfight, the folks at Boxing News and Views have created an infographic with a breakdown of the protagonist’s vital stats and accomplishments.

After years of stalling and anticipation, pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26 KOs) and Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KOs) will finally meet in a welterweight title unification bout on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather is coming off belly-to-belly wins over Argentine mauler Marcos Maidana in May and September of 2014.

Pacquiao will enter the fight after handily out-pointing a game but overmatched Chris Algieri in November 2014. Prior to that, Pacquiao had defeated Timothy Bradley and Brandon Rios after being flattened in a sixth-round knockout-loss to long-time rival Juan Manuel Marquez in 2012.

The fight will be broadcast jointly by HBO Pay-Per-View and Showtime PPV.
