Zou (邹市明) was last in action against Kwanpichit OnesongchaiGym in November 2014, beating the undefeated Thai with a unanimous decision. That bout was Shiming’s first defense of the WBO International flyweight title he had lifted from Luis De la Rosa in July 2014. Prior to facing De la Rosa, Shiming had defeated Filipino Yokthong KKP and Juan Tozcano of Mexico. Shiming has fought exclusively out of Cotai Arena, Venetian Resort, Macao, China. (Getty)

Zou Shiming, 邹市明, a two-time Olympic Gold winner (2008 and 2012), was the first Chinese boxer to medal at the games with his 2004 Bronze. One of the most popular athletes in China; Shiming was a three-time world amateur champion. Shiming turned professional in 2013. Not only is Ren the boxer’s translator and business partner, she is also mother to his son. "He showed an inborn interest in boxing so young," Zou said.
