Former two-time welterweight world champion and 2004 Haitian Olympian Andre “The Beast” Berto (29-3, 22 KOs) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Steve Chambers after a 14-month layoff. Prior to fighting Chambers, 31-year-old Berto had suffered back-to-back-defeats to Jesus Soto Karass and Robert Guerrero.
Josesito “Riverside Rocky” Lopez (33-6, 19 KOs) scored a unanimous decision win over Rafael Cobos in September 2014, which followed victories over Aaron Martinez and Mike Arnaoutis. Josesito’s professional record includes clashes againt top-level opponents Canelo Alvarez and Marcos Maidana, as well as an upset win over Victor Ortiz in 2012.
