Slugger Frank Buglioni (16-1, 12 KOs) of Winchmore Hill returns to the ring after his first-round kayo of Ivan Jukic just two months ago. Going into the Jukic encounter, 26-year-old Buglioni had dispatched undefeated Andrew Robinson, Bulgarian Alexey Ribchev, and palooka Sam Couzens. Buglioni’s  only career defeat came at the hands of veteran Sergey Khomitsky in April 2009.

Lee Markham, 29 years old, enters the ring having been outpointed by Jahmaine Smyle in March. Prior to that, Gray’s Markham had steamrolled over tomato can Lewis van Poetsch and decisioned unknown Raimonds Sniedze after putting him down twice in a sixth-rounder.

Buglioni has looked terrific coming back since his loss to Khomintsky. He enters to Saturday’s fight having pummeled his last adversary, while less experienced Markham is coming off a demoralizing loss.

Both fighters have plenty to prove, come Saturday; but I predict the Winchmore man will continue his dominance over the opposition with a successful second defence of his WBO European super middleweight belt.

Guy’s pick: Frank Buglioni wins with sixth-round TKO in a grinding shootout.
