NBA 2015-16: Betting Odds for the Rookie of the Year

The buzz surrounding last week’s NBA Draft has just about subsided, so it’s a perfect time to talk about which of the selections will be the 2015-16 Rookie of the Year.

The sportsbooks have the early odds out and Philadelphia 76ers forward Jahlil Okafor is the favorite at 7/2. Okafor surprisingly slipped to No. 3 to the Sixers. The player chosen just before the former Duke star was D’Angelo Russell. The new Lakers guard is right behind Okafor at 4/1.

No. 1 overall pick Karl-Anthony Towns has 7/1 odds to bring the rookie of the year award to Minnesota. Those are the same odds Emmanuel Mudiay, the 7th pick by the Nuggets, has.
