Week 3 of the NFL season could see a return of certified fantasy football stud, a debut of a future star and a street-clothes appearance of perhaps your first-round pick.

Who am I talking about? Let’s find out.

Arian Foster, Texans: Foster is listed as questionable (groin) for Sunday’s game vs. the Buccaneers. Right now he’s day-to-day and we probably won’t know his status until closer to game time. I didn’t rank him below, but if Foster does make his 2015, he cracks the top 15 as he might see enough carries to warrant a top 10 spot.

Eddie Lacy, Packers: Lacy left the field early in Week 2 with a sprained ankle and is also questionable for Week 3. I have him at No. 10 below, but, as with Foster, we won’t know his availability for a few days. Luckily for Lacy, the Packers don’t face the Chiefs until Monday night so he gets an extra day of rest.

Todd Gurley, Rams: The one we’re all antsy to see, Gurley (knee) will be a game-time call vs. the Steelers. Even if he does play, thought, I wouldn’t expect Gurley to see more than 10 carries in his first career NFL game. I really can’t wait to see what he can do out there, but I don’t have him in the top 40 yet. That’ll change soon.

And just before we get to the actual rankings, there’s great news out of Pittsburgh as Le’Veon Bell returns from his two-game suspension. Bang up job filling in, DeAngelo Williams.

Each week I’ll be posting fantasy football rankings for quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends and defenses/special teams. Bookmark our fantasy football rankings 2015 page to keep up-to-date on the latest projections and rankings so you know you who to start and who to sit.
