When a team loses a game, often times their first goal is to forget about the loss on move on.
Nothing says, “move on” like a seven-hour plane ride.
After losing on Sunday in dismal fashion, both the Jets and Dolphins will hope to take a new step forward when they meet in London on Sunday.
This will be the first of three London games this season, with all three scheduled to start at 9:30 am EST. The Bills and Jaguars will meet in Week Seven, and the Lions and Chiefs will meet in week 8.
The Dolphins are at a low point after a humiliating home loss to the Bills. Their defense, supposed to be their strong suit, was pushed around all game long by the Bills interior. On offense, the Dolphins had major issues running the football and protecting Ryan Tannehill. Both have something to with the absence of tackle Brandon Albert, who is out with an injury.
Ailments aside, Miami kept their starters in the game long after the result was in hand, hinting there may be more problems below the surface for the Dolphins. Don’t expect things to improve against the Jets, who are being hailed as having some of the league’s best lineman on both sides of the ball.
The Dolphins are travelling to London for a second consecutive year, and have a 1-0 record at Wembley Stadium. Last year they defeated the Oakland Raiders, 38-14.
