US Open 2015 Schedule: Day 8 Matches & Order of Play

We’ve hit the second week at the 2015 US Open, and the matchups are getting progressively more tantalizing.

The night match at Arthur Ashe features No. 2 Roger Federer taking on No. 13 John Isner. While Fed-Ex is obviously the clear favorite, Isner has the monster serve to keep things close, and he’s typically at his best at the US Open.

Elsewhere, former Junior World No. 1 Donald Young goes for his first major quarterfinal appearance against No. 5 Stan Wawrinka, while there are a pair of top-15 matches (Andy Murray vs. Kevin Anderson; Tomas Berdych vs. Richard Gasquet) on Louis Armstrong.

On the ladies side, No. 2 Simona Halep and No. 5 Petra Kvitova are both in action. Neither have ever made it to the quarters at Flushing Meadows, but that’s likely to change.
