United States manager Jurgen Klinsmann has a host of selection dilemmas ahead of a crucial meeting with Mexico to determine who advances to the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia.

The eight-team tournament has produced some memorable results for the USA in recent memory and is viewed as an important warmup for the World Cup the following year. After crashing out of the Gold Cup over the summer, Klinsmann is on a bit of a hot seat that may turn scorching should his team lose in Los Angeles against Mexico.

Mexico interim manager Ricardo Feretti has no such worries as he will return to club side Tigres regardless of how this match turns out.

Juan Carlos Osorio will take the reins for World Cup qualifying after the match.
