The San Diego Chargers take on the Oakland Raiders in an AFC West showdown. The Chargers enter the contest at 4-10 while the Raiders are 6-8.

Both teams are out of the race for the playoffs but will be playing in front of a national television audience on Thursday Night Football. According to OddsShark, the Raiders are favored by six points.

The Raiders are 5-1 against the spread the last six times they have played the Chargers. The Chargers are 4-1 against the spread during their last five road games this season. The Raiders are 2-4 against the spread during the last six games.

The over-under is set at 46.5 points. The total has gone under in five of the Chargers last seven road games. For the Raiders, the total has gone over in six of their last eight home games.

The OddsShark computer projects the Raiders to win 26.6 to 16 over the Chargers. The computer is taking the Raiders to cover the spread and under on the point total.

Heavy is also taking the Raiders over the Chargers. The Raiders offense will prove to be too much for the Chargers defense that Football Outsiders ranks 31st in the NFL. Heavy does expect a higher scoring game than the computer.

Heavy’s Pick: Raiders 30 Chargers 23. Raiders +6. Over on the point total.
