Chelsea have long been out of the BPL title race, but it seems they are not longer sinking towards relegation. Guus Hiddink is righting the ship at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea can draw even with West Brom with three points today.
The Blues have eight points from their last four matches, most recently a convincing 3-0 win over Crystal Palace. Diego Costa is far from the 20 league goals he netted last season, but he has scored four goals in his last three outings, doubling his total on the season. After a knock in their FA Cup win over Scunthorpe, Costa is “doubtful” for today’s contest.
The Baggies are winners of three straight in all competitions, but could only draw Bristol City in Cup play this week, forcing a rematch next week.
