It is not often the number one teams in both polls play each other. That is the scenario we have tonight as Oklahoma, who is number one in the AP Poll, takes on Kansas, who is ranked first in the USA Today Poll.
Oklahoma enters the contest a perfect 12-0 while Kansas is 12-1.
According to OddsShark, Kansas is favored by 5.5 points. The over-under is set at 110.
Oklahoma is 1-4 against the spread in their last five games while Kansas is a perfect 5-0. The total has gone over in five of Oklahoma’s last six games.
The OddsShark computer projected an 80-68 Kansas victory. The computer is taking Kansas -5.5 and the over on the point total.
Heavy also sides with the computer. The Ken Pom ratings have Kansas as the top ranked team. The Jayhawks have won 11 straight games since their early loss to Michigan State. We like Kansas to get the big victory at home and leave the contest as the undisputed number one ranked team.
