Cam Newton & Youngest QBs to Start Super Bowl

At just 26 years of age, Cam Newton already has over 18,000 passing yards, 3,000 rushing yards, 160 total touchdowns, three Pro Bowl selections, a first-team All-Pro nod, an NFC Championship and almost assuredly an NFL MVP award on its way.

And now he’s looking to add Super Bowl champion to the list of achievements.

Of course, while he has the chance to enter rarefied air with a victory–only eight quarterbacks in history have won the Big Game at a younger age–simply starting Super Bowl 50 before his 27th birthday is enough to entrench him in the record books.

Here’s a look at the only other quarterbacks who has accomplished that feat, and where Newton stands in terms of age:
