All eyes in the horse-racing world will be on Gulfsteram Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida, on Saturday for the inaugural Pegasus World Cup.

Not only does the $12 million purse make this the richest thoroughbred horse race in history, but the field features the two highest-rated horses in the world.

There’s California Chrome, who won the 2014 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes among several other Graded stakes victories in 2016, and there’s Arrogate, who recently took down Chrome at the highly entertaining 2016 Breeders’ Cup Classic.

It’s mostly a top-heavy field–Keen Ice, the only horse to ever beat Triple Crown winner American Pharoah in a Grade-1 race, is the next best option but he finished a distant third in the 2016 Breeders’ Cup Classic–but the first race of its kind is certainly compelling.
