John Ross broke Chris Johnson’s 40 yard dash record by running a 4.22. The Washington receiver is fighting Mike Williams and Corey Davis to be one of the top wide receivers selected.
Ross pulled up with cramps after his first run and will not run his second attempt. Fans had to wait for the official time to see if Ross broke Johnson’s record. NFL Network showed a simulcast of Ross and Johnson running at the same time. It appeared Johnson edged him out despite the unofficial number being higher. In the meantime, he has Johnson’s attention who sent out a series of tweets after the run.
