Champions League action resumes Tuesday, as Barcelona will travel to Italy to take on Juventus. It’s the eighth meeting all-time between the teams, with the most recent coming in the 2015 Champions League final. Barcelona would like to replicate that 3-1 victory in Berlin, but it’s easier said than done against Juve’s stout defense.

Juventus have allowed just two goals in Champions League play this season, and are unbeaten in the competition. At home, they are unbeaten in 17 straight Champions League fixtures. Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Dani Alves were all rested over the weekend and should be ready to play.

Barcelona rested Andres Iniesta over the weekend, and the results was a 2-0 loss to Malaga. They now trail Real Madrid by three points in La Liga, and will be shorthanded for Tuesday’s first leg. Sergio Busquets is suspended, while Arda Turan, Aleix Vidal and Rafinha are all out with injuries.

The Malaga loss reflected two of Barcelona’s flaws over the weekend: a lack of consistency as well as depth. Barcelona need top performances from their starters if they want to keep things close in Italy, while a large deficit would prove insurmountable heading back to Camp Nou next week.

Kickoff starts at 2:45 p.m. Eastern and will air on Fox Sports 1. Keep this page refreshed after kickoff for the latest updates, including video of every goal.
