WATCH: Zaza Pachulia Punches Iman Shumpert Where It Counts

The NBA finals looked more like the WWE at times in Game 4 with several different skirmishes involving everyone from players to fans. Zaza Pachulia and Iman Shumpert were involved in perhaps the most disturbing part of the evening.

A slow motion replay of the third quarter incident shows Pachulia punching Shumpert in the groin as the two were tangled up. It appears as though the referees did not see this on the replay as they only called a double-technical.

Shumpert also appeared to kick Pachulia as he is being pulled away from the skirmish. This is not the first time Pachulia has been linked to controversy. There was a controversy in the Western Conference Finals over whether Pachulia purposely stepped on Kawhi Leonard’s ankle. Leonard ended up missing the majority of the series.

While this was going on, there was also a fan sitting courtside that was kicked out of the game for something he said to one of the Warriors players. Here’s an extended look at the both incidents:

Prior to this mixup, Kevin Durant and LeBron James got into a heated exchange. Durant did not take kindly to a hard foul from Kevin Love.

Here’s a look at the exchange between James and Durant:

Overall, it was a very testy night with players having to be separated on multiple occasions. All this leads to a highly anticipated Game 5 next week.

Don’t be surprised if the Pachulia incident is reviewed by the league office. If the NBA deems a punch was thrown, Pachulia would likely face a suspension. Pachulia could still be disciplined even if the officials did not originally see the incident.

Here was Twitter’s reaction to Pachulia’s punch:
