On Monday, September 22, Whit dropped a photo of himself hugging Landry to his Instagram Story.
It is interesting timing as No. 4 LSU hits the road to take on No. 13 Ole Miss in a matter of days. Landry now has an interesting dilemma of rooting for her rumored LSU love interest or dad on the Ole Miss sideline.
While Whit made things Instagram official, the LSU linebacker is still nowhere to be found on Landry’s social page. It looks as though Landry deleted her initial Instagram post.

Back in November 2024, Lane and daughter Landry shared a special moment on the field after Ole Miss defeated Georgia.

When she was upstairs here, thinking to and thanking her for a couple years ago with the Auburn decision, you know and staying here.
“You know when she had sat there and that decision process and saying that ‘Hey i just got here’ when she came here to live with me and go to Oxford High, and then she was coming to Ole Miss, so ‘don’t leave me now’. So it’s just cool how things happen. So, I just thanked here, cause these moments wouldn’t have happened.”

“Playing USC this week, the first game I’m making it kind of personal for me that way I’m like I’m not going to let these West Coast dudes come in here and push us around, we’re from the South we play real football,” Whit said on the show, per Saturday Blitz.
