The Procore Championship kicks off the FedExCup Fall swing this week at Silverado Resort’s North Course in Napa, California. This breezy par-72 layout–with tree-lined narrow fairways, small greens, and water in play only on two holes–is a birdie haven designed for precision ball-strikers and sharp short-game players.

It’s also a Ryder Cup rehearsal. Ten members of the U.S. team teeing off here, including the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Justin Thomas, are using this event as their final competitive warm-up ahead of the showdown at Bethpage Black.

Power Rankings for Procore Championship

The Procore Championship field is stacked, and the official power rankings highlight the blend of veterans, Ryder Cup stars, and rising talents ready to take on Silverado. Here’s a look at the top 15:

15. Matt Kuchar – A steady veteran who thrives off the tee and with the putter, boasting three strong finishes at Silverado in recent years.
14. Jackson Koivun – The Auburn junior earned his spot via a top-10 at the Wyndham and enters fresh from a victorious Walker Cup.
13. Collin Morikawa – A Ryder Cup pick in need of a reset, he finished T10 here back in 2019.
12. Akshay Bhatia – Hungry to rebound after a frustrating year despite advancing to the TOUR Championship.
11. Mark Hubbard – Riding momentum from a T3 at the Wyndham, with four top-25s at Silverado since 2019.
10. Russell Henley – In peak form with a win and multiple top-10s this year; a model of consistency.
9. J.J. Spaun – The reigning U.S. Open champion and Silverado regular making his 10th straight appearance.
8. Harris English – Winner at Torrey Pines this season, adding two more top-five finishes to his resume.
7. Ben Griffin – A breakout 2025 star with 10 top-15s in his last 12 starts and a breakthrough win in New Orleans.
6. Patrick Cantlay – Gained a Ryder Cup captain’s pick after a late-season surge, finishing runner-up at the TOUR Championship.
5. Maverick McNealy – A West Coast specialist with four podium finishes this season, including a runner-up here in 2022.
4. Sam Burns – In scorching form with 15 straight made cuts and back-to-back top-15s in the Playoffs.
3. Cameron Young – A recent Wyndham winner and Ryder Cup pick, staying hot with multiple top finishes since.
2. Justin Thomas – Silverado has been his playground in past starts, with four consecutive top-10s.
1. Scottie Scheffler – The world No. 1 makes his Silverado debut riding a run of dominance that includes five wins in 11 starts.

Course Breakdown & Fantasy Strategy

Silverado’s North Course is short (around 7,138 yards) but tricky. The greens demand surgical precision with approach shots, while putting prowess on bentgrass/Poa annua surfaces is a must. This means fantasy managers should zero in on players who rank high in Strokes Gained: Approach and Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green, as well as those getting hot with the flat stick.

Recent winners here typically finish top seven in SG: Around-the-Green and SG: Putting, showing the premium on short-game mastery. With six par-4s ranging from 400-450 yards, solid ball-striking remains essential.

World No. 1 Scheffler is the betting favorite to win this week, carrying heavy Ryder Cup swagger into Napa. He’s headlining an elite field stacked with U.S. stars looking for competitive reps.
