However, the golfer’s previous divorce saga was revisited by pundits and fans alike for the fact that he filed for divorce from Erica Stoll back in 2024.
McIlroy withdrew the legal request for marital separation after a month, but the fact that he took the step to file for divorce remains a conditional obstacle in his personal life. Shortly after revoking the divorce filing, the golfer spoke with The Guardian, saying, “Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together.
