Team USA captain Keegan Bradley has announced his full 12-man roster for the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.

The debate and speculation are finally behind us, and Keegan Bradley is revealing the full Team USA roster for the 2025 Ryder Cup.

Bradley announced his six captain’s picks on Aug. 27, rounding out his 12-man roster, and somewhat surprisingly he did not name himself as a playing captain.

Here are Bradley’s six captain’s picks:

Justin Thomas
Collin Morikawa
Ben Griffin
Cameron Young
Patrick Cantlay
Sam Burns

The six captain’s picks join the six automatic qualifiers. Those players, led by world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and reigning U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun, were locked in before the end of the FedEx Cup playoffs. Here are the six auto bids already selected to the team:

Scottie Schefler
J.J. Spaun
Xander Schauffele
Russell Henley
Harris English
Bryson DeChambeau

The Europeans will announce their roster Sept. 1 ahead of the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black which starts Sept. 26 in Farmingdale, N.Y.

Bradley Doesn’t Name Himself to Team USA Roster

Bradley, who famously was snubbed for Team USA at the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome, had a chance to get back in the mix by naming himself a playing captain.  In doing so, he would have become the first Ryder Cup playing captain since Arnold Palmer led the Americans to victory in the 1963 Ryder Cup at what was then known as the Atlanta Athletic Club.

It sure felt as if it was trending toward Bradley picking himself, especially after he played well down the stretch. He fired a third-round 63 at the Tour Championship and sounded like someone who was willing to take the risk. Ultimately, it seems as if he decided jugging captain responsibilities plus trying to win points on the course would have gotten in the way of the Americans’ quest to regain the Cup, and Bradley insisted his picks took it out of his hands.

“The decision was made a while ago that I wasn’t playing,” Bradley said after announcing the picks. “The last 48 hours, we had the team set. We weren’t scrambling at all. I would say there was a point this year where I was playing, a while ago, and all these guys stepped up in a major way and played their way onto this team. … It was an extremely difficult decision but one I’m really happy with … and I’m glad it’s over.”

Team USA Slight Favorite at Bethpage Black

Team USA is a slight favorite to lift the Cup, according to DraftKings Sportsbook, which had the Americans as -145 favorites. Team Europe, which is expected to run back nearly if not exactly the same team it used in 2023, is +115 to retain the Cup, per DraftKings.

The Americans should have a home-field advantage, which has come to define the Ryder Cup over the last decade. The home team has won the last four Ryder Cups, and the last “road” team to win on enemy turf were the Europeans in 2012 with the “Miracle at Medinah.”

According to early looks at Bethpage Black on Long Island, it appears the PGA of America is leaning into its players’ skill sets, as is typically the case. Based on some intel from The Fried Egg’s Matt Rouches, the fairways have been widened, something that should help this bomber-heavy American roster.
