Before Tuesday’s game, the Dodgers announced that they had made a trade with the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Dodgers wrote: “The Dodgers acquired IF/OF Tyler Fitzgerald from the Toronto Blue Jays for cash considerations. To make room on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred RHP Landon Knack to the 60-day injured list.”

After getting traded to Toronto earlier this year, he did not play in an MLB game for the franchise.
