The Yankees are in the middle of another series without their best player, as Aaron Judge has been out since May 31 with an injury.
MLB.com wrote (on August 15): “Played catch for the first time in his rehab process Aug. 14 after being cleared for light exercises earlier in the month. Has not swung a bat since May 31.”
According to the site, he could still return this month.

It’s worth pointing out that Judge can make MLB history when he resumes play.
He needs just one home run to tie Aramis Ramírez (386) for 70th on the all-time list.
Judge had been in the top-70 earlier this season, but several active players have moved ahead of him while he’s been out.
The three-time MVP last hit a home run on May 24.
@RobBballHistory wrote (on May 24): “Aaron Judge hit his 385th career HR, passing Hall of Famer Harold Baines and moved into a tie with Dwight Evans for 68th on the All Time HR list.”

Judge remains one of the only active players who will likely hit 500+ home runs.
The 34-year-old superstar is in the middle of his 11th season at the MLB level.
He has spent his entire Hall of Fame career with the Yankees.
