On Sunday, the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays will be back in the Bronx for the finale of their three-game series.

The Yankees are coming off a 4-3 loss on Saturday (following a victory on Friday).

Heliot Ramos finished Saturday’s loss with three strikeouts in four at-bats.

UPDATE: The Yankees won 8-3.

Ramos has been removed from the lineup on Sunday.

The 2024 MLB All-Star is in his first season with the Yankees after a trade (via the San Francisco Giants) earlier this month.

Right now, he is batting just .113 in 16 games for the Yankees.

The Yankees wrote (via X) on August 3: “The New York Yankees today announced that they have acquired outfielder Heliot Ramos from the San Francisco Giants in exchange for minor league infielder Kaeden Kent and left-handed pitcher Henry Lalane.”
