Heading into the second night of their back-to-back set, the Detroit Pistons have loaded up their injury report against the New Orleans Pelicans.
With 10 players listed, there are some surprises for Detroit.
A few players are guaranteed to miss the action. Cade Cunningham is the obvious name that stands out, as the two-time All-Star recently suffered a collapsed lung.
Cunningham is expected to be out for multiple weeks and might miss the remainder of the regular season. The Pistons placed a two-week re-evaluation timeline on him. Therefore, they’ll have more clarity then.
Isaiah Stewart has been out of the lineup and is on pace to miss his seventh game in a row.
The veteran guard Caris LeVert will miss Thursday’s action due to right knee soreness. He hasn’t missed a game since March 12.
During the Pistons’ overtime loss against the Atlanta Hawks on March 25, LeVert scored just four points while coming down with five rebounds in 15 minutes of action.
The Pistons also ruled out Wendell Moore Jr., who isn’t dealing with an injury. Instead, Moore is on assignment with the Motor City Cruise of the NBA G League.

Who Could Play For The Pistons vs. the New Orleans Pelicans?
The All-Star center, Jalen Duren, is a name that quickly stands out.
For the second night in a row, Duren is on the injury report for Detroit due to right knee injury management. The good news is that he’s probable.
In the overtime loss against Atlanta, Duren checked in for 42 minutes. He went 9-15 from the field, scoring 26 points. He racked up a double-double by coming down with 14 rebounds. He also had three assists and two blocks on the night.
The Pistons have four other players on the report as probable: Duncan Robinson, Marcus Sasser, Javonte Green, and Ausar Thompson.
According to the report, Robinson is managing a wrist injury. Sasser has a right hip strain. Green is dealing with an ankle sprain. And Thompson has been managing the ankle injury, which forced him to miss a handful of games recently.
The only player questionable for Detroit’s side on Thursday is the veteran forward, Tobias Harris. He is dealing with left hip soreness.
Throughout the post-All-Star break run for Detroit, Harris has been available for all but one game. He checked in for 35 minutes against the Hawks on Wednesday night. Harris made 52.9% of his shots from the field to score 22 points. He also had three rebounds and one steal.
The Pistons and the Pelicans are slated for a 7 PM ET tip on Thursday, March 26.
