On Monday night, the Golden State Warriors are playing the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.
After making his return on Saturday, Kristaps Porzingis was ruled out for their clash with Utah.
He finished Saturday’s 104-97 loss to the OKC Thunder with nine points, five rebounds, five assists and one block while shooting 3/10 from the field and 0/3 from three-point range in 23 minutes of playing time.
Steve Kerr Announces Kristaps Porzingis Update

UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis is available for Tuesday’s game.
Before Monday’s game in Utah, head coach Steve Kerr revealed the latest on the 2018 NBA All-Star.
Nick Friedell wrote: “Kerr says Seth Curry is ready to return tonight. Will Richard remains out. Porzingis and Horford flew home already. Kerr believes both are on track to play tomorrow vs. Bulls.”

Fans will likely enjoy hearing any update on Porzingis, as his status has been up in the air for most of his tenure in Golden State.
The 30-year-old forward is in the middle of another solid year with averages of 16.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 45.4% from the field and 35.1% from three-point range in 19 games for the Hawks and Warriors.
Bobby Manning of Celtics on CLNS wrote (on March 1): “That Kuminga-Porzingis trade was so interesting. Warriors just trying to make something happen with the latter situation stuck, Giannis trade attempt failing. ATL taking a chance on Kuminga with Porzingis long out of the mix. Probably could’ve guessed how that would go for both.”

Golden State Warriors Still Fighting

While the Warriors are no longer the force that they once were, they are still a solid team with a 32-31 record in 63 games.
They are coming off a season where they lost in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
If the Warriors can get Steph Curry, Porzingis (and others) fully healthy for the postseason, they will be a tough out for any team.

The Warriors last won a title in 2022.
They have been to the NBA Finals six times since the 2015 season.
