On Thursday evening, the LA Clippers will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in California.
The Clippers are coming off a 111-109 loss to the Orlando Magic (at home).
Despite the loss, Kawhi Leonard finished with 37 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks while shooting 14/25 from the field and 2/7 from three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time.

UPDATE: Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out (h/t Marc Stein of The Stein Line).
For Thursday’s game, the Clippers could be without Leonard.
Law Murray of The Athletic wrote: “Kawhi Leonard (ankle) is questionable, as he was for Sunday vs Magic. He was at practice so it would be a surprise if he doesn’t play vs Timberwolves. Leonard has a four-game cushion for award eligibility.”

Leonard has been able to stay on the floor for a large chunk of the 2025-26 season.
The two-time Finals MVP is currently averaging 28.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 49.4% from the field and 38.1% from three-point range in 44 games.
He is in his sixth season playing for LA.
Prior to signing with the franchise, Leonard spent time with the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors (who he won one title each with).

The Clippers got off to a rough start to the season (and traded away key players), but Leonard still has them as the 10th seed in the Western Conference with a 27-30 record in 57 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak (and 5-5 over their last ten).
Following the Timberwolves, the Clippers will play their next game on Sunday when they host the New Orleans Pelicans.
At home, they have gone 14-12 in 26 games.

On the other side, the Timberwolves have remained one of the elite teams in the NBA with a 36-23 record in 59 games.
They are the fifth seed (and just one game back of the Houston Rockets for third).
Following the Clippers, the Timberwolves will head to Denver for a showdown with the Nuggets on Sunday.
On the road, they have gone 16-12 in 28 games outside of the Target Center in Minnesota.
