Patrick Mahomes may be facing one of the toughest stretches of his football career, but off the field, the Kansas City Chiefs star is focusing on something more important: family. He and wife Brittany Mahomes marked their son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III’s birthday this weekend, and even with the Chiefs slipping in the AFC playoff standings, the family put celebration first. Here’s how it all played out.

Patrick and Brittany spent the weekend celebrating their son’s third birthday. The family hosted a Marvel-themed party at a Ninja Kidz trampoline park, and Brittany shared photos and videos from the event on Instagram.

A video showed the toddler running across trampolines holding a Spider-Man balloon before blowing out the candles on a Spidey and His Amazing Friends cake. Patrick and Brittany were seen jumping, sliding, and playing basketball with the kids.

“My boy is THREE❤️,” Brittany wrote on Instagram. She also shared the video on her Stories, adding, “The best day for the best boy 🥹.”

Brittany posted a separate birthday tribute, sharing several throwback photos of Bronze dressed in a Spider-Man costume, holding a football, and cheering on his dad on game days.

“Happy Birthday to my little dude! The smartest yet very wild and hilarious kid you will ever meet!” she wrote. “Everyday is a new day of silly jokes and lots and lots of love with you! My baby boy is 3🥹 your sisters, mom and dad love you forever and ever🤍.”

Patrick and Brittany are also parents to Sterling Skye, 4, and 10-month-old daughter Golden Raye.

The Mahomes Family Shares Thanksgiving Memories

Family time didn’t stop at Bronze’s birthday. The Mahomes clan was also on the sidelines for the Chiefs’ Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Brittany shared a new family portrait, featuring the family of five in fall outfits, smiling and laughing.

The siblings also posed for a sweet sibling shot: Golden sat on Sterling’s lap, while Bronze leaned in with a lollipop.

“Happy Thanksgiving🤎,” Brittany captioned the photos.

Earlier this week, Bronze even showed off his growing NFL knowledge. In a viral clip, Brittany pulled miniature helmets from a bag, and Bronze correctly named every team. When he got to his dad’s franchise, he adorably shouted, “The Teefs!”

The Chiefs’ Playoff Situation Has Taken a Big Hit

While Patrick celebrated off the field, the Chiefs got more bad news in the playoff race. The Chiefs are now 6-6 after their Thanksgiving loss to the Dallas Cowboys, marking their second straight defeat. Kansas City has fallen to 10th in the AFC standings.

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ loss to the Buffalo Bills was a setback for Kansas City, dropping the Steelers to 6-6 and allowing the Baltimore Ravens to climb into the top spot in the AFC North. According to ChiefsDigest.com, this makes the path to the postseason even narrower for Kansas City.

The SportsLine Projection Model gives the Chiefs just a 38.3% chance to reach the postseason. Kansas City likely needs to win all five of its remaining games — and even that may not secure a spot. Three of the remaining matchups are against teams ahead of them in the race.

If the Chiefs lose to the Houston Texans next week, their playoff chances drop to 9.1%. Even with a win, the model only increases their postseason odds to 53.9%.
