Andrea Swift Praises Travis Kelce in ‘The End of an Era’ Docuseries Trailer
In the trailer, released Thursday, November 13, across Taylor Swift’s social media channels, Andrea Swift beams as she talks candidly about Kelce.
“Travis Kelce, he brings a lot of happiness,” Andrea, 67, says in a voiceover moment that quickly sent Swifties into a frenzy.
The trailer then cuts to the “Anti-Hero” singer, 35, laughing on the phone with Kelce, 36, in the backseat of a car. In the clip, Swift jokes, “We basically do the same job.”
“You’ve got teammates, I got teammates,” Kelce replies. “You’ve got Coach Reid, I’ve got my mom,” Swift adds as they both crack up.
According to insiders quoted by ShuterScoop, Andrea’s comment was far more significant than fans may realize. “Andrea doesn’t speak unless she means it,” the source said. “That was her subtle but unmistakable stamp of approval.”
The insider added that Andrea appreciates Kelce’s “loyalty, humor, and gentle confidence,” and especially how he consistently shows up. “Games, concerts, backstage — he’s present. He’s invested. And he treats her with total respect,” the source explained.
Friends of the family told the outlet that Andrea now watches every Chiefs game and texts Taylor live commentary. “She thinks Travis is exactly what Taylor needed — grounded, fun, and real,” the insider added.
Scott Swift Also Gushing About Kelce: ‘He Loves Them Together’
Andrea isn’t the only parent singing Kelce’s praises. A Southwest Airlines passenger recently went viral on TikTok after recounting a conversation with Scott Swift during a flight out of New Orleans — and he had plenty to say about Kelce.
“He did … talk about how much he loves Travis for her, which was super cute,” the passenger, Taylor Moore, shared. She added that Scott subtly compared Kelce to Taylor’s past partners, reportedly saying, “Out of all of her boyfriends in the last 12 years … Travis has made the biggest impact.”
Moore claimed Scott also praised the tight end’s family, saying he already knew Kylie Kelce’s father, Ed McDevitt, before Taylor and Travis began dating. “He said … ‘I knew they were amazing,’” Moore recalled. “He loves Taylor and Travis together.”
Moore noted she didn’t ask about Kelce — Scott offered the comments freely, speaking with the enthusiasm of someone truly delighted by their daughter’s relationship.
